ABOUT
Emmy Award Winning Producer
Renee began her career in the music space working as an assistant at MCA Records. While attending Film School in New York, she worked as a Production Assistant for MTV and upon graduating strived to work on projects that combined both of her passions: film and music. Renee’s first project was the Sublime documentary Stories, Tales, Lies and Exaggerations, followed by a long list of music videos and the music series Refused TV for Fuse.
Renee’s continued passion for documentaries led her to work with Academy Award winning Director Jessica Yu on her film Protagonist. Renee received an Emmy Award for her work on PBS series The Evolving Human, and went on to serve as Head of Production and Executive Producer for Relentless Media where she brought her story skills to the branded and commercial content world.
Most recently Renee was a Producer for the Netflix music series Remastered with episodes directed by Academy Award winning director Barbara Kopple and Executive Produced by award winning team Jeff and Michael Zimbalist (The Two Escobars). Renee’s episode “Tricky Dick and the Man In Black” as well as “Who Shot the Sheriff” have received 2019 Emmy Award nominations.
Additionally, Renee just completed a Supervising Producer roll on a 6-part documentary series for CNN about the history of Late Night talk shows to be released in 2020 and is in development on a new music series.

Renee has Produced, Line Produced and Directed and has served as a Supervising Producer, Head of Production and Executive Producer for TV series, documentaries, branded documentaries, scripted features, commercials, music videos and live music events.
